Craps

Craps is the most popular dice game in the Unites States. It’s a fast and exciting game with lots of action. In terms of intricacy of rules, betting options, and payout ratios, it is unparalleled among casino games. Many Craps bets offer very favorable odds to the player, and if you bet wisely, you can keep the house’s advantage to a very small percentage (about 0.6% in the best cases). Among the best bets are Pass and Come, especially when you take advantage of the associated free odds bets.

Craps Game play Basics
In the game of craps, players take turns rolling a pair of dice. The player who rolls the dice is called the "shooter" since he/she is essentially shooting the dice on a playing field. Players bet on the same roll, regardless of which player is rolling. Each game takes place in rounds and the first roll of each round is called the "come-out" roll. Craps employs a vast array of betting options which can make the game a bit confusing for the new player. However, the most fundamental of bets is the "pass line" bet which just about every player makes. With the "pass line" bet, "pass line" bettors win on come-out rolls when the total of the dice rolled adds up to either 7 or 11. If a 2, 3, or 12 is rolled then the player rolled "craps" and is a loser. Any other number combination rolled is called the "point". If a point has been rolled then the number of the point (for example: 4) is carried over on the next roll. Once the point is set, the pass-line bettor wins if the point is rolled on the next dice roll and loses if the roll total is a 7 on the first roll. This is known as "seven-out". Once a seven-out occurs, the dice is passed to the next player and betting continues on a new come-out roll.
